Christmas in the Philippines is one of the most observed holidays in the country. Filipinos from all walks of life give out their very best and even their very last pennies just to celebrate this day. Every Christmas, my family gather together to spend time with our grandmother. She's now 96 years old! We also prepare different foods and share the spirit of this season. This year, I have planned to prepare a No-Bake Blueberry Cheesecake. I browsed through the net and looked for the perfect recipe. Five hours before Christmas, I rushed to the nearest supermarket to play hide-and-seek with the ingredients. Here are the contents of my grocery list and it took me almost one and a half hours to get them all.

Months ago, we decided to spend a few hours at the condo of one of our friends after work. Usually, we cuddle at the front of her TV, fill our stomachs with pasta and salad, and watch some feel-good movies. This time brushes and paints were scattered at the floor and all of us were busy trying to make our own masterpiece. This was my first time to use acrylic paints.

Since, I've been practicing on water colors, I was pretty sure of what I was going to paint... ROSES. For the third time, I tried to replicate the same thing because that is the only way to know if somehow I have improved. My friend was generous enough to share the acrylic tubes. I was a bit nervous because I did not want to waste her tubes.
